- #ME/CFS #Covid Pain is a weird thing. Like how you get used to it. I had an infection (I do suspect Covid, but I can't be bothered to check any more, I am at home constantly, anyway) in early October. After that one infection or other. Today is the first day things are looking up. Like, I don't feel
- pain today. I am not as exhausted (though still tired). I am only a bit dizzy. It feels weird to feel so normal. Not that I would have thought of this as "normal" before I got ME... And I have been chronically ill since about the 90s, so my bar is a bit lower then average anyway. Also I am getting
- a bit anxious. Like: This is feeling too nice, with no pain... no problems breathing, no brainfog... surely something will hit me any minute now?

- Den muss ich mal loswerden. Nach den Äußerungen über psychische Erkrankungen, Streichung des Arbeitsrechts, dass man Leute überreden sollte, statt für 500,-€ lieber für 2.000,-€ zu arbeiten, dass Krankheit ja vielleicht nur eine Sache der Motivation sei... Ich würde sie nie selbst wählen, aber
- mittlerweile denke ich, die A... Partei kann auch nicht schlimmer oder dümmer sein. CDU, wo ist der Unterschied? Ich hatte früher Probleme, den zwischen CDU und SPD zu sehen und ich habe in diesem Jahrtausend nicht mehr CDU gewählt. Trotzdem bricht es einem das Herz. So geht Demokratie auch zugrunde

- Bit late for Caturday, but here he is: Furi keeping watch over my birthday presents. I made a picture for my friend who asked and 2 Minutes later: #caturday #catsky
- Weird Christmas. I never thought much about it, but my first "real Christmas" really traumatized me. Like, I was too scared of Santa (thanks to my great-grandmother) to leave my safe place behind the sofa and I cried tears of relief that I survived it. Let's say, the color of my great-grandmothers
- brand of pedagogy was rather dark. I knew about it all the time. And even though I did like getting presents as a kid, I never really formed a positive emotional bond with Christmas. If putting up trees and lights would have been forbitten, if cookies had been outlawed... I would not have minded
- it much. Even though getting presents was nice, I was not really into all of it. I never understood it. It really only dawned on me this year that I dread Christmas, really (and New Years Eve, tbh, but for different reasons). I am so relieved once the year has finally ended and January brings
- more normal times. So... we don't celebrate. Stephan has off work, that is nice, but other then that... And it feels so much better. Just let the year end already and let life be normal again. It does feel kinda weird. People enjoy Christmas and their families and I love that for them. But I can't.
