Laugh with comedians. Read books. Go to concerts. Watch movies. Enrich ourselves with diverse ideas. Relish art.

- So the new university website sucks, and has almost no useful information for staff or for students, or if it does, it's almost impossible to find. I thought the old one was bad, but this is SO much worse.

- At #100factorial, we noticed that this deltahedron (a pyramid on each face of a tetrahedron) can be used as a D12, because it does indeed have 12 faces, and it lands with one of them more upwards than any of the others.

- Reposted by David K ButlerI’ve had an @effinbirds.com daily calendar at work the last couple years and it is UNCANNY how often it directly applies to work situations going on, it’s become a running joke in our area. Today was a Hard Day for big reasons and this was today’s calendar. It could not be more appropriate

- Here is a full set of iceberg diagrams. The score is how many full squares there are, counting the ones above the waterline as positive and the ones below the waterline as negative. Given a list of integers (eg 8, 6, 0, -5, -8) can you make an iceberg that will produce exactly that list? #MathSky

- The question is this: Without calculating, is 15.99/3.99 greater than 4, less than 4, or equal to 4? Well, 16/4 is definitely equal to 4. 15.99/4 is less than 4, because I have less 1/4’s than I did before. 16/3.99 is more than 4, because more 3.99’s fit into 16 than 4’s do.
- Hmm. Interesting.
