- I’d just do my commissions and write RPGs. If I could make more money from either I’d be open to it, but I love the idea of just doing what I love with no strings. - Something I’ve come to learn about TTRPG design, you can learn so much from working in other systems for how you want to build yours.
- I’ve been workin in the JoJoTTRPG for like 2 years, and DnD 5e was where I started my homebrew journey, and I’ve learned that I love and hate different things about each system’s structure through getting extremely intimate with them.
- This allowed me to figure out how I wanna handle making my system. How do I keep it simple like in JoJo’s? What do I need to add structure like in 5e or Pathfinder? Questions like this popped up, and using different frameworks helped me decide where my loyalties lie in terms of structure building.
