- Reposted by DangeresqueIIIWanted to get some traditional drawing and coloring practice in, so I drew Alpha from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. I was trying to emulate some of the sepia tone panels that happen in the omnibus release. I used micron pens and cheap markers, then used CSP to airbrush the background and touch things up.

- I loved this movie as a kid, way more than ET. ET scared the SHIT out of me to the point I had night terrors. Not Mac though. He was more silly and less traumatizing (though his family are horrors straight from hell). Can't wait to rewatch it on VHS, the way it was meant to be seen

- 39/140 volumes of 月刊アフタヌーン Monthly Afternoon's Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou so far. Already got TWO duplicates so I had to create a spreadsheet to help me see what I already have. I love these books though, they have a smell sort of like... a library filled with phone books. Its kind of comforting.

- Chapter 56 Frost is the closest thing to snow I had growing up. I remember being a kid and seeing the back yard lawn almost pure white. I would walk around hearing the grass crunch. I loved it. And this chapter reminds me a lot of those winters. Also I love the panel of them looking up at the stars

I did a 200gb raw RF decode of the Laserdisc, then I went frame by frame to return it to the original 23.976 fps rate the series was mastered at. The result is a 10GB 1-Episode rip with the highest visual clarity possible (even beating the DVD!).
- Cel of Mrs. Brisby from The Secret of NIMH. This is the only non-anime cel I have, but I love it so much. That expression is so very relatable. This is from the scene where she goes into the rats lair looking for Nicodemus.
- Cel of Haruko Mitsuhashi from Roujin Z (1991) I tried a couple times to upload a gif of the scene the cel is from but Bluesky doesn't seem to like gifs -_-
- Asuka cel from Neon Genesis Evangelion, with original background. Purchased in 2018 for way too much (and hopefully its authentic 😬) Not sure exactly which episode, though someone was able to find a screen cap from the same scene
