- I recently applied for a new passport and the old one was returned today with its edge clipped. I now have five old passports in a drawer. Surely 50 years of travel can provide inspiration for writing. Do you ever check the stamps and visas in your passport as a way to generate ideas?
- Afternoon all! This is @gailaldwin.bsky.social managing the #womenwritersnet account this week. Today marks the halfway point of deep cleaning my house ready for holiday letting from March. I find cleaning the most uninspiring of jobs. Which tasks leave you without a shred of inspiration?

- On a London walk to celebrate the birthday of author @catherinerandall.bsky.social, I learnt that the Guildhall Library contains Shakespeare's First Folio. 36 plays were collected for publication by John Heminge and Henry Condell. Without their efforts, half of Shakespeare's plays would've been lost
- I haven't visited to the Guildhall for years but my graduation ceremony from Kingston Poly was conducted there. It was such a pleasure to revisit it.
