- Reposted by Stonewall DFLI won’t bother to attend a meeting that was called under false pretenses. My public comments and my comments to the press speak for themselves. The Party failed you all in a moment of crisis. I’m sorry those of us who tried to change things couldn’t do more.
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLYou will hear from some in party leadership that there is no real opposition to holding precinct caucuses in person. This is a lie. Do not let them tell you otherwise.
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLI am hearing that the emergency @dfl.org SEC meeting tonight, which I had planned on attending, is discussion only and will not be taking up any actual business. This is not how this meeting was initially presented to the SEC earlier this week.
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLThere’s a rally going on in Boston rn and they’re chanting “we’re not cold, we’re not afraid, MN taught us to be brave!” and I might cry
- Justice for Alex Pretti. Abolish ICE. Prosecute all ICE officers and local, state and federal officials, elected or otherwise, who enabled these atrocities to happen. Stonewall DFL and Minnesota will not rest until this work is completed.
- Please join and participate if you are able! ❤️

- Reposted by Stonewall DFLYes! And knowing this, our patrol networks will do their level best to secure caucus locations, which will leave *everybody else* more vulnerable to ICE!
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLIt is not your duty to finish the work, but neither are you free to abandon it
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLI have heard from SO many constituents who are concerned about their safety, and their neighbors’ safety, on caucus night. @dfl.org MUST have contactless caucuses to ensure safe and fair representation.
- The time has come where the DFL can no longer pretend that things are business as usual. @dfl.org @rcarlbom.bsky.social it’s time to pivot to contactless caucuses to protect our precinct caucus attendees and volunteers from harm at the hands of ICE.
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLNever EVER donate to a candidate or PAC. If you are so moved to make political contributions, it's exponentially more effective to support grassroots organizers like blackvotersmatterfund.org, www.voteriders.org, www.centerforcommonground.org, or countless others

- Reposted by Stonewall DFLICE has shown up at schools, bus stops, made fake food aid flyers, and used a 5yo as bait to opportunistically beat up, tear-gas, and abduct neighbors and observers. @dfl.org and @rcarlbom.bsky.social what makes you think they * wouldn't * use our caucuses as a way to terrorize and detain DFLers?

- Stonewall DFL is getting reports that some candidates running for office are continuing to make calls for precinct caucuses and recruiting delegates to run for organizing unit conventions. Please let Stonewall DFL know if you hear from candidates running in the DFL primary about any of this.
- Serious campaigns would be connecting people to resources and how they can help in the fight against this federal occupation that is murdering our neighbors in our streets. We would like to know which campaigns we should be taking seriously.
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLThe DFL has issued Somali, Spanish, and Hmong non-attendee caucus forms to make it easier for those targeted by ICE to participate. I've placed them on my website for ease of access: www.abetterdfl.org/forms

- Reposted by Stonewall DFLYour money could be better spent on helping families. Funding the DFL apparatus will likely send money to members who actually won’t support immigrants. Like when they stripped healthcare from immigrant adults or refused to advance Sen Fateh’s sanctuary bill.

- Reposted by Stonewall DFLThe Powderhorn Park neighborhood has been the biggest target of immigration enforcement in Minnesota. It’s home to a large immigrant community who is now struggling to pay rent. Kidnappings are on the rise because people cannot stay home. Please help us out. gofund.me/350c67697

- Reposted by Stonewall DFLDon’t listen to this political strategist. There are literal families who are starving, people who do not have enough for rent, businesses with eviction letters, and neighbors who are hiding. Help communities out instead and it will actually have an impact.

- Stonewall DFL is honored to endorse @bethfraser64a.bsky.social in the special election to fill the seat vacated by Saint Paul Mayor-Elect Kaohly Her. We encourage delegates to the DFL HD64A endorsing convention on December 7th to vote for Beth to receive the DFL endorsement in this race.
- We also encourage DFLers to vote for Beth in the special election primary scheduled for December 16th. "I am grateful to be endorsed by Stonewall DFL and that they see that I will continue to champion 2SLGBTQ+ equity and protections in Minnesota.

- Stonewall DFL is outraged and completely condemns the vile and racist attacks on the Somali community, both in Minnesota and around the country. (1/4)
- These types of attacks coming from the highest levels of our government make the most vulnerable and marginalized among us targets of racial profiling and abuse by rogue and unaccountable federal agencies like ICE. (2/4)
- The Somali community has always given much more to our state than it has asked for. It is deeply wrong and hurtful to continue to blame an entire community for the actions of a few. (3/4)
- Stonewall DFL stands in solidarity with our deeply treasured Somali community, supports our wonderful DFL Somali Caucus, and continues to fight alongside a community that consistently stands with us when called upon. (4/4)

- To clarify: while we have not yet been approached by the state party to collaboratively address transphobia within the DFL, this is the first time in many years that a DFL Chair has publicly said they are willing to work with Stonewall.
- We remain hopeful that this is a step in the right direction for the party, even if it is slower than we want. We continue to make the point that the time is now to take decisive action and will stress this until our point is heard.

- Completely and totally unacceptable behavior from leadership of a recently chartered DFL Community Caucus. Transphobia anywhere is a threat to our community everywhere. This is only the most recent example of transphobia being tolerated within the party. When will @dfl.org step in to stop this?

- Happy Labor Day! The Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party in Minnesota has the distinct honor of being the only Democratic Party affiliate in the United States that explicitly names Labor as part of our coalition. While this is unique, the DFL must remember not to take it for granted.
- Stonewall DFL will continue to work with our labor partners and their 2SLGBTQIA+ caucuses to ensure that not only do we continue to expand worker protections, but that 2SLGBTQIA+ people are explicitly included in decision-making and protected by their unions.
- We stand on the backs of those who fought hard to get us to where we are today. Let us all commit to ensuring those protections are not rolled back by greedy corporations and their special interests. Our struggles are interconnected. Solidarity forever with our union siblings!
- Thank you for standing for our trans neighbors Council Vice President Chugtai ❤️❤️
- Councilmember Chavez has proven time and time again that he will always have our backs, and we will always have yours. We are proud to endorse him in his re-election campaign for Minneapolis Ward 9. Thank you for always standing with us ❤️
- Council President Payne has been a vociferous advocate for the trans community in Minneapolis. We are proud to endorse him. Thank you for standing up for our trans neighbors, Council President Payne. We have your back just like you’ve had ours!
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLI’m sending love and care to our Trans community. I condemn the disgusting rhetoric targeting our Trans residents and the despicable calls to repeal legislation that makes Minnesota a Trans Refuge state. 1/

- Thank you, Senator Clark! We appreciate your advocacy for our community at the Capitol ❤️
- Thank you to @lademos.bsky.social and their LGBTQ+ Caucus leadership for having us tonight to talk about the recent tragic acts of gun violence that have occurred this summer in Minnesota, and the needed continued fight for trans rights in a country hostile to our community right now.
- Louisiana Democrats, and particularly their LGBTQ+ Caucus, have had our backs through some horrific times this summer. And we will always have yours too. Solidarity with you all in this fight ❤️
- Reposted by Stonewall DFLWe are barely two months since the Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives and her husband were assassinated in their home, not far from today's shooting. So please fight for strong gun control laws at every level of government. Lives depend on it. They always have.

- Stonewall DFL is outraged and heartbroken at the news of the mass shooting that took place at Annunciation Catholic Church and School on the morning of August 27th, 2025. Our thoughts are with the children, families, staff, first responders, and medical professionals during this time. 1/10
- This tragedy marks the 302nd mass shooting in the United States and 4th mass shooting event in Minneapolis this year. No child should ever fear for their life while at school or at church. School is meant to be a place of learning; church is supposed to be a place of community and healing. 2/10
- And yet, for far too many in this country, the reality is that these once safe spaces have been infiltrated and decimated by unspeakable and unfathomable acts of evil. At what point do we say enough is enough? 3/10
-
View full threadThe focus of this attack should not be on who committed it, but on those affected and their families, and how to best support them. We invite everyone reading this to practice community care in the days and weeks to come as we process this tragedy. 10/10
