- A quick dash to Clifford Hill GP this afternoon to see the juv American Golden Plover, a great find by Pete Gilbert👍. I got a couple of quick pics looking into the light. I’m sure there will be better photos to come from others. #northantsbirds
- A lovely afternoon at Snettisham RSPB yesterday, some purring in the bushes (volume up)
- Lots of waders to look through included Little Stints, Curlew Sandpipers, Spotted Redshanks and a Pectoral Sandpiper.
- All followed by a lovely sunset.
- Clifford Hill GP this evening 11 Black-tailed Godwits out in the middle, frustratingly one was colour ringed but too far away to get any detail. Maybe orange/red right leg above white and green on left? Also 1 Common Sand and a juv LRP. #Northantsbirds
- A real nice surprise to see the stunning White-winged Tern (Childonias leucopterus) at Summer Leys NR today. It always seemed to keep its distance but gave good scope views. Here’s a heavily cropped pic. #northantsbirds #RareBirdsUK #UKBirding @wildlifebcn.org
- This Black Tern (Childonias Niger) was at Clifford Hill GP earlier today. #northantsbirds #digiscoping
- Always good to see inland. This pair of Common Scoter (Melanitta nigra) were at Clifford Hill GP this evening on the deep water lake. #northantsbirds #digiscoping
- The juv Glaucous Gull was on the beach near the shingle ridge at Old Hunstanton earlier today. #Norfolkbirding #ukbirding #digiscoping
