- My puzzle book Workworkwork won the Thinky Award for the best Pen and Paper puzzle! 😳 Congrats to all the other winners and nominees! 🎉
- Played more of Onirim today, starting to explore its expansion modules. This is slowly becoming my favourite chill after-lunch-coffee activity. I can see why the game hit the sweet spot for so many people, there's a timeless feel to it, comparable to the Klondike solitaire experience: (1/?)
- you just shuffle a single deck and start playing / it doesn't matter if the cards are upside down or not, since there is no text or special iconography that can be found in other modern solo card games. (2)
- I played a lot of the digital adaptation on mobile back in the day and I thought that I'd hate the constant shuffling in person, but I honestly enjoy it, it's just the right amount of busy work to have these blank-mind moments in between turns. (3)
- All the other Oniverse games that I played don't reach Onirim's simplicity and impactfulness - Shadi really caught the lightning in a bottle with this one. (4)
- Daily Herd photo (this time during the actual play)
- Sometimes I can be quite a charmer
- A great instructionless paper puzzle set! :)
