Ontario Living Wage Network
We're a non-profit that calculates 10 regional living wage rates and certifies employers who pay it. We work with local advocates to make sure it is well understood that there's nowhere in the province where you can work a min. wage job and make ends meet.
- New #LivingWage rates are out today. GTA highest as usual, Windsor & Sarnia will see highest % increase over last year to $21.50(+8.3%) www.ontariolivingwage.ca/updated_2025...
- Thanks @policyalternatives.ca for the colab on this important analysis, a first for Ontario!
- There's a growing class of owners who don't see labour as just another cost to suppress, and we're proud to list them as certified #LivingWage employers. We get these quotes as they sign up, and they're usually variations on "Paying a LW is just the right thing to do" no matter their sector/size
- If you work full-time at minimum wage, you'll still be in the red even after the Oct 1 increase: www.thestar.com/politics/pro... #Livingwage @thestar.com
- Very pleased to be a part of an important discussion about affordability on CBC's Ontario Today, which is doing an extra hour today: www.cbc.ca/listen/live-... #LivingWage
