- Broken heart syndrome is officially called takotsubo syndrome, but also known as stress-induced cardiomyopathy. It can also be triggered by any intense stress, not just heartbreak. Recovery is usually quick, but recent research shows that there can be more long-term damage than previously thought.
- Creatine helps supply quick energy for short bursts of high-intensity activity such as lifting weights, but it doesn’t build muscle on its own; it only makes resistance training more effective. Remember that it’s not a replacement for getting enough sleep, hydrating and eating enough protein.
