- $100 yesterday at the grocery store and we didn't finish the canned goods (no stock), buy any meat, frozen items, or any fresh veg. I know $100 is what some people in the US spend per *week* (and more!) and this is our monthly buy but, Jesus Hopscotch Christos! This cannot stand.
- Um... We're not going to get the brunt of Basyang, just some occasional rain. It will pass well north of us as cyclones normally do. But that's a lot of red, orange and yellow. 😳

- I didn't know Revel Bars were a thing. Wife got a container of five Oatmeal Revel Bars from the "Eurobaker". I guess the middle of the bar is supposed to be chocolate? Might be carob in these to keep costs down. I don't taste chocolate. Pretty good though, anyway.
- Went out to get my SocSec monthly today and do grocery shopping. Old friends joined us for lunch and of course, I just sat there unable to hear. They shopped with us and treated us to coffee and a pastry after and of course, I just sat there unable to hear. I'm never out of my own head now.
