A pervasive corruption has swept over America in politics, sports leagues and individual behaviour. It’s not partisan it’s human and it’s increasing because of institutional failure. Energy wasted on infighting acts as perfect foil for illicit activity. Truth, unity and moral standing must return
As your first premise was about truth - it is difficult when information is entertainment & not, in fact, truth. When something is demonstrably false & it's stated as fact from the highest positions of power- it makes us cynical & question it all. I'm for coming together
