- An idea I've had for a while - I was inspired by a radio operator that posted about it, to combine art and antenna, literally... I don't recall their call sign, but this operator had build a loop type antenna, including the necessary tuning circuitry, into a large painters canvas. The piece is then
- able to be hung on the wall, the only possible sign something extra is going on, the length of coax cable coming out of the canvas and going into a radio. An alternate take to this idea that I have also seen, is to build the loop directly on the surface of or into the surface of the wall, and then
- to paint over it. In this case, the paint is merely to blend the thinner antenna elements into the color of the rest of the wall, while the larger matching sections can be placed out of sight, with the coax painted to match the wall, and an actual painting placed to further camouflage the antenna.

View full threadMains harvesting might require a larger trinket, but could be used to weigh it down if you wanted, even if it can't provide a lot of continuous power, but it would be applicable as a loop within the frame of a canvas - maybe an always on nightlight + power indicator.
