- New Orleans, I need to haunt some estate sales because I need dining chairs but I don't really know how to find them or where to start. I know there are people who do this. FB marketplace has not had much and also everyone on there is a nightmare haha
- Rice + like anything will get you really far. A lazy meal of mine is rice + canned tuna, soy sauce, mayo, chili crisp, furikake, and pickled veggies. I always have all those things on hand, and I cook batches of rice then freeze them in small portions just for such lazy meals (hell yeah rice cooker)
- I also baby this hangup except it often results in me not ordering anything at all and eating nuts and fruit and crackers for dinner
- HAVE not "baby" 😭 Edit button
- The overworked AUSA, who is supposed to be representing the US government against all these immigrants, is actively trying to get the people released by court orders released. I imagine she's got some consequences coming her way but this is 🫡 good shit
- Lol that is if I'm interpreting this correctly
- Lol well doesn't this sound familiar
- If you look at Twitter the lunatics are viewing Trump's obstacles to totalitarianism as solely the fault of women, liberal white women mainly, and they are fantasizing about totally crushing us with violence and oppression.
- I think some people may have thought i was exaggerating the extremely gendered maga perceptions of liberal weakness. I offer this as a rebuttal. bsky.app/profile/radl...
- They fully believe Trump's golden age isn't coming because women have been legally allowed to own property, vote, work, deny men sex, and choose whether or when to have children. I believe they will fight us specifically from now on (luckily we're smarter and less lazy)
- Make Not Being A Giant Asshole Great Again
- A photo from when I studied abroad in Barcelona in 2006.
- I'm over the "we can't vote our way out of this" - bc it's "we can't ONLY vote our way out of this." Same with "he's just gonna steal the election/cancel it/etc" - they're not trying to steal elections bc they don't matter! You do get that we can't actually get back in office w/o winning right?
- Of course voting alone doesn't solve this - but it's a prerequisite to everything else. We will be on this exact back foot forever without gaining some institutional power - esp at state and local levels. We can't fight against a stolen or subverted election w/out having actually won it, dummy!
- In fact the best way to overcome the stealing or subversion is to vote overwhelmingly. It makes the gerrymandering backfire, it makes the stealing harder, it makes the subversion riskier
