I can't believe I forgot to mention this earlier, but if it's convenient, I also draw for myself at most concerts I go to. I have a little pocket sketchbook. it's a nice way to zero in on the music and performance. I get the feeling that people are gonna say it's even more distracting than recording
the "you should be focused" side of the concert conversation is really interesting. I really don't think it vibes with how much weed and alcohol is at shows in my experience in the Bay Area, but I do get it. But having just one right way feels like listening to a sermon. I want to be overwhelmed.
