- like what soundcloud.com/samwaitin/fe...
- someone told me that nuphory house music is "music that makes you feel cool" and that is genuinely the most fitting description of my style ive ever heard
- the music itself isnt cool, im not cool, but the music is supposed to make you *feel* cool. lol

- anytime I post in here it's only weird bluesky replyguys talking to themselves in the responses. I'm only allowing followers to respond from now on because I wanna know what YOU think, not what some random person that doesn't care about me OR you thinks.
- at some point, the most difficult thing you can do as a music artist is to avoid doing anything difficult in a song while still making it bang
- self absorbed post :: it always gives me whiplash when im browsing soundcloud / spotify and i randomly hear one of my loops / samples in a song. happens like once a day too. i appreciate that people are using it
- wdyt about artists updating their coverart for older tracks to bring them up to their current skill level
- this is just goodmusicslop. youre only listening cuz its good

- i worked this hard to overcome all that and create opportunity for myself and now im gonna waste it because im depressed? no way
- music and art are very good things and its critically important that everyone keeps making it. it doesnt matter what happens on the way, this is your calling, this is what you were meant to do, so do it
- in the past 10 years of trying to make this music dream work, ive been assaulted at shows, ive been bullied, manipulated, sexually assaulted, harassed.. even if making music is fun enough to outweigh these experiences, it sticks with me and its definitely whats causing my depression now
- every day im still trying to make a net positive impact and working on becoming better, so i generally know what to do and commit to it. but i cant genuinely say that doing this has changed me on some fundamental level, its always gonna be more or less this and nothing else. gg
- somewhere deep down i just completely dont think any of what im doing matters. even if i consciously know and understand that i can make a net positive impact and that it does matter, that part of me is simply gone, and my life now is mostly about figuring out how to navigate that
