- Only because the trash needed taking out, did I brave the cold and have a smoke. I'm now out of cigs, & I did ok with just gum yesterday, so I can do that for a couple of days. Will get some writing in later. Leftovers for dinner.

- Spending the day reading for the 2 lit mags I read for. Lots of great stuff to read! I love getting a peak into someone else's mind. Dinner is a chicken casserole cuz we can eat that for 2 days. It's stupid cold in Chicago, I'm relying on nicotine gum. Cats howling to play fetch.

- Continuing to work on my story; usually my short stories are in the 1,500 wc range, but I'm trying to make this one longer. There are lit mags who tend to publish long form stories, this is good practice for that. #writing #stories #fairytale #fiction

- The story I'm working on is fairy taleish. It's about Cinderlla & is set a month after the ball. Reality has set in & she's getting a crash course on being queen.
