- How can we navigate the ethico-political tensions of researching power and its abuse in IR? Working through concrete dilemmas, our roundtable at this year’s #SPSA Conference in Zurich explored ethics not as an abstract and decontextualized concept, but as a situated, modest, and reflexive practice.
- Shout out to our stellar panelists, Rahel Kunz, Stéphanie Perazzone, Ulrike Lühe & Jonas Hagmann, and @fhofmann.bsky.social for the moderation. Thanks also to the @ipz.bsky.social admin for an excellent conference organization.

- We were present at #EWIS2025 in enchanting Kraków, where we gathered at Poland’s oldest university, Jagiellonian, for the WS "How Matters Come to Matter: Thinking/Practising In-Betweenness Through Posthuman Method Configurations," convened by @lucasperezfl.bsky.social & @francakappes.bsky.social.
- Together with Earl Gammon, @jonathanlukeaustin.bsky.social , @fhofmann.bsky.social , Mehmet Evren Eken, Pooya Ghoddousi, and @sunnakokkonen.bsky.social, we explored method as performative and entangled:
- — Sensing with bodies, materials, and intensities 🫀 — Attuning to more-than-human, affective, and non-cognitive registers 🌿 🐟 — Practising indiscipline through iterative, multisensory approaches 🔁
- Huge thanks to the @europeanisa.bsky.social organisers and local hosts— Piotr Łubiński, @danielalai.bsky.social , Magdalena Kozub-Karkut —for creating a welcoming space for encounter and experimentation. Stay tuned for upcoming DoingIPS Switzerland events — announcements coming soon!
