- I began this morning listening to Miles Davis jazz while I wrote. Now, I'm listening to Motley Crue's song "Sumthin' For Nuthin'," a song about people hustling to make a dollar. www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0Y7...
- Lost in Translation is one of my favorite movies because stuff like this actually happens. Two strangers meet and simply enjoy each other's company. It appeals to people because a great many long to talk deeply with someone. It's not a romantic film. It's a listening.

- A recording studio engineer is an #artist. A good recording #engineer enhances a band's sound making them legend. Mötley Crüe were famous before their album Girls, Girls, Girls came out in 1987, but the sound of #songs like Wild Side made them mega famous. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVkT...
- If you write edgy #fiction, you know how difficult it is to find a publisher willing to take a look at your writing. Slut Vomit: An #Anthology of Sex Work by Outcast-Press Anthologies is a collection of stories and #essays about sex work. It's witty and a page turner. amazon.com/dp/B0B1CG9JSJ
- One Foot in Hell is a 1960s #movie starring Alan Ladd. In the film, Alan Ladd's #character brutally guns down one-by-one the guys who helped him rob a #bank. It's a creepy film fitting of its title. It's made creepier because Alan Ladd plays a #sheriff. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Foo...
- The Cushion Saw the Window is the story of a nude #webcam model who becomes afraid of her online fame and turns to #writing for comfort. You can find the #story on the Internet Archive by visiting the link on my profile. @archive.org
- I still purchase music on CD, and for years I've used Windows Media Player to auto-tag my CDs. In December 2025, WMP stopped auto-tagging. None of the programs I've tried store a CD's unique identifier to sync a CD's playlist for offline listening. So, I'm sticking with WMP and manually tagging.
