Defend trans rights in Alabama!
- Another year, another bad bill in Alabama. House Bill 23 has been proposed; if passed, it would extend “Don’t Say Gay” through the 12th grade. Sound familiar? Let’s remind our representatives that Alabamians don’t want bills like this. We’ll help you make your voice heard: ALTRAC.works?source=bsky
- There’s another chance to send a postcard to the APLS board: come see us at Gold Sprint Coffee tomorrow (12 October) between 11am and 5pm. As always, we’ll make sure you get to say your piece.
- Have you written to the APLS board to tell them to reject the proposed code changes which would ban trans-positive materials from Alabama libraries? Come see us and @at-the-root.bsky.social at Lowe Mill (in Huntsville) tomorrow; we’ll help you write to the APLS board. You CAN make a difference!
