- So exciting to see the fluffy buds on the willow trees! A sign of potential and hope. Spring is coming!

- Made lasagne last night for the first time for my daughter's 14th birthday meal and I must say I was rather pleased with how it turned out!

- He can have soy or oat milk but is allergic to milk protein so no dairy/cheese. But he loves meat so would not want a vegan alternative! I think we just accept some dishes don't work for him!

- This sounds delicious!

- He's a vegetable dodger and not a vegetarian, just allergic to dairy so I would just need to use oat milk for the white sauce and vegan cheese but not sure it'd turn out nice. Some things are just better with dairy!
- Today's pangram on NYT's Spelling Bee is very much NOT a word. I can accept it hyphenated but as a single word, absolutely not.

- It was 'hourlong' - NOT A WORD!

- I do agree there has been an over use of hyphens of late but this single word situation was not OK! (I will tell you the word if you like and you can judge for yourself but don't want to spoil it for puzzle fans!)

- I need to figure out a dairy free version as we could only have this cheesy version last night because my dairy-allergic son was out. I just wonder if it works as well without cheese?

- Ah yes I walked past it the other night and wondered what use it was being put to. It does look lovely. Bit sad it's not a public space but I guess I can always drop in for a fancy glass of wine!

- I did indeed used fresh pasta sheets so no boiling required! Was much easier to make than I thought.

- Gutted it's closed! Was my hang out of choice as a teen in the late nineties!
- Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️

- Oh that's amazing! My dog would be useless as he does not do strangers 😂
- Lots of long tailed bits eating all the bugs in the garden today! This photo zoomed in on my phone makes it look like a sepia print.

- Yes all the tits seems to descend on our garden at the same time like they hang out in a big group - great tits, blue tits and long tailed all together!

- They are just so inherently cute because they are chubby but also look sort of scruffy!

- Your bird feeder is clearly the place to be!

- Yes it really does look like a painting!
- Went to see No Other Choice at the cinema last night, a biting satire on capitalism. Was very pleased to find the cinema packed (mostly with twenty-somethings). Anyway great film, beautifully made, funny but also a gut-punch.
- Ooof! This is such a sad article. They really do fuck you up, your mum and dad...

- Yes, i think you're right. It seems like such a generational change in parenting styles has happened.
